The Education, Employment and Training Programme is a work skills programme for young people aged fourteen to sixteen who are disengaged from school.  Through a combination of paid work, education and work experience we aim to assist our young people overcome their obstacles to employment and assist them to develop the skills necessary to become future workers.

The programme has established a Vegetable Garden Project as part of the education component of the programme.  Our aim is to teach our young people the joy of growing their own vegetable and the benefits of healthy eating on a budget.  We have established a vegetable garden consisting of ten raised irrigated beds at our home campus in Parkerville.  We want the young people to learn the entire process from raising seeds right through to the end of cooking of their produce.
