Are you passionate about the prevention of alcohol and other drug misuse?

Local Drug Action Groups Inc. is seeking volunteers throughout WA to join their local branch. There are over 60 branches located in both regional and metropolitan areas.

As a volunteer, you will be working on exciting projects and events within the community which have an aim of preventing and reducing alcohol and other drug use.

Each Local Drug Action Group is resourced and supported by the Local Drug Action Groups Inc. Executive Office, which means that no matter your experience or expertise in the areas of community development, event planning or alcohol and other drug issues, you can be supported to roll out effective initiatives in your area.

Some recent projects and events by Local Drug Action Groups have included a family fun day, a stall at the local fair, a health expo at the local high school and an extreme sports day for youth in the community.

Membership is free and one of the many benefits of volunteering for Local Drug Action Groups Inc. is that you get to work with like minded people on a regular basis as well as network with other branches throughout the state.
