Profile: Volunteers make an invaluable contribution to The Shire of Mundaring community in building and sustaining both social and welfare networks. The Shire of Mundaring helps to support our volunteers in various ways. We offer support and information for volunteers and volunteer organisations in the form of workshops, training, advice and resources.We offer grants to thank volunteers for their hard work and efforts and to celebrate milestone events. Thank a Volunteer Day is an important day on the events calendar for the Shire where we ask volunteer organisations to nominate volunteers for peer recognition.
